This week we shipped more major new capabilities across the platform. Here's what's new.
Direct Utility Login for Demand Response
Voltra now supports direct utility login for select utilities, making it significantly easier for operators to enroll their sites in demand response programs. Instead of navigating separate utility portals and manually configuring DR participation, operators can authenticate directly through the Voltra Platform using their existing utility credentials.

Load Balancing with Upstream Energy Meter Reading
Load balancing on the Voltra Platform now incorporates real-time upstream energy meter readings. This means the system can dynamically allocate power across chargers and other site loads based on what the building or site is actually consuming, not just what the chargers are doing in isolation.
This is a major improvement for sites with constrained electrical capacity. Instead of statically capping charger output to avoid tripping breakers or exceeding demand limits, Voltra reads the upstream meter and adjusts charger loads in real time. When the building draws less, chargers get more. When the building spikes, chargers pull back. The result is higher charger utilization, fewer demand charge surprises, and better use of the electrical capacity you already have.
White Labeled QR Codes
Operators can now generate fully white labeled QR codes for their charging stations directly from within the Voltra Platform. Every QR code can carry your brand with your own logo, colours, domain, and more, so the driver experience feels like yours from the moment they scan.
