This week we shipped major new capabilities across the platform. Here's what's new.

NEW: OCPP 2.0.1 Support

Voltra Charge now has full support for OCPP 2.0.1. Everything operators already rely on us for with 1.6J, including real-time monitoring, session management, smart charging, direct action endpoints, works out of the box, and the protocol will be autodetected.

OCPP 2.0.1 is a meaningful step forward for the industry, supporting improved device management, security profiles, and the foundation for ISO 15118 Plug & Charge. For operators running mixed fleets, both protocol versions run side by side on the same platform with no feature gaps.

NEW: Station Publishing on Mapping Platforms

Operators can now publish their charging stations directly to Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Tesla Maps without a direct OCPI connection. Setup takes minutes — select what chargers to publish, and your stations show up where drivers are already searching. No manual listings, no third-party directories, no back-and-forth

Looking for something a bit more customizable? We also support direct OCPI connections, enabling station sharing and roaming across charging networks. Publish where drivers are already looking, and connect to the roaming partners that make sense for your business.

NEW: ID Tag Manager

A new ID Tag Manager is available in organization settings. Operators can create, view, and manage OCPP ID tags directly within the platform — useful for debugging OCPP spec issues, managing authentication for chargers, and controlling access for direct action endpoints.

ID tags are a core part of how OCPP handles authorization, and having visibility and control over them in one place makes it significantly easier to diagnose issues and manage access across a fleet.
