It was a busy quarter, with improvements and enhancements across the product portfolio. Most importantly we progressed two major new products which will be released in the coming weeks and months.

๐ŸŒ Energy management & demand response

  • EMS enhancements: an expanded tariff engine (rates, components, coincident-peak programs), optimizer cost evaluation, meter-data ingestion (CSV/XLSX), and high-resolution interval storage.

  • Closed-loop control with reactive safety, plus a shadow mode that estimates savings before actuating.

  • New OpenADR 2.0b support โ€” registration, secure mTLS transport, and poll loop for participating in utility demand-response programs.

๐Ÿ”Œ Connect โ€” devices & DERs

  • Continued vendor-ecosystem integration: EcoFlow (discovery โ†’ control, multiple product families), Bluetti (Elite 200 V2 + Modbus TCP), Geotab & Samsara telematics, Teltonika RUT956, WAGO industrial switch, and ABB Terra chargers.

  • Error decoder โ€” a schema-driven layer that decodes device error codes into readable text, seeded with OCPP 2.0.1, ABB Terra, Alpitronic, and Teltonika mappings.

  • Modbus TCP read/write control and a named-encoder action system for driving devices.

  • Secure field connectivity via auto-provisioned WireGuard tunnels at device creation.

  • Our library of hundreds of device profiles keeps growing, across an expanding set of categories.

โšก Charge โ€” EV charging

  • Continuing improvements to our OCPP 2.0.1 standard support (certificate infrastructure, ECDSA/SP3 support, conformance hardening).

  • Location-based charger authentication and RFID-to-vehicle assignment.

  • AI-assisted access-policy generation โ€” describe the access rule, get a validated policy.

  • Configurable OCPP password length, zombie-connection prevention, and a published OpenAPI spec for the charging API.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Console & Web

  • Energy-management UI โ€” Monitor, Configure, Savings, Upload, and Overrides tabs for running EMS sites all received extensive updates.

  • Device onboarding that renders forms automatically from each device's profile.

  • Org management: rename organizations, delete sites, list org users; fleet/depot views for telematics.

  • Error-decoding tab with inline, plain-language faults.

  • Faster, more reliable front end: guest-checkout redesign, Web Vitals, and front-end alerting.

๐Ÿงฑ Platform & APIs

  • Standardized, guide-compliant APIs and OpenAPI specs across services, plus a typed API-response library for cleaner integrations.

  • Event-driven infrastructure so device state stays current as devices come and go.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Reliability, security & trust

  • Rolled out mesh-wide service authentication (per-request JWT + cookie-based sessions) and CSRF defenses across the stack.

  • Standardized health/readiness checks and hardened our identity services for high availability.

  • End-to-end tracing and metrics via OpenTelemetry.

  • Continued SOC 2 work: penetration-test remediation and compliance/legal updates.

Two big things brewing

Beyond everything above, two significant new products made major strides this quarter.

The first continues to advance our vision of the decentralized grid and helps simplify how site operators manage their sites over time โ€” and we'll have much more to share about it very soon.

The second is a major new offering that will help ensure energy sites are managed efficiently throughout their lifecycle. Stay tuned.
